“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope

by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

As a Christian charity, Hope Nottingham provides a community that brings people together from different churches and no church at all, who all learn to bless one another.

There is no sense of competition or exclusivity and we do not claim to be a 'church' ourselves, rather a

'Christian Community of Hope'

Hope Nottingham's ministry focus is always on welcoming new people into this Christ-centred community of love and support, but without any intentional imperative that new members become members of any particular church. For many, Hope Nottingham's various communities will be their natural home where they can be nurtured and grow as part of our Christian community.

pastoral support

Hope Nottingham is committed to providing pastoral care to our guests. Pastoral care at Hope is the provision of spiritual, practical and emotional support, provided regardless of individual beliefs.

Our model of Christian Community is committed to supporting equality, diversity and inclusion.

We will always offer rather than impose prayer or faith based conversation or activities.

Anyone offering does so in good faith and will never be offended if someone prefers to decline.

faith based activities

Where possible we provide opportunities for individuals to explore their spiritual and faith development through more planned activities. This has included 'Breakfast with God', a Thursday morning showing and discussion of 'The Chosen', at Hope House in Beeston supported by our Chaplain. We have also facilitated 'Prayer and Praise' evenings at both Beeston and Carlton in partnership with Maranatha.  Our 'Renew Wellbeing Cafe' Thurs 5.00 pm - 7.00 pm provides an optional opportunity for young people to explore faith in a calm and safe space.

prayer

Prayer is a way we endeavour to keep our Christian faith

at the centre of all we do.

Everyone is invited and welcomed, and personal choice whether to join in or not is always respected.  Join us on a Monday - Thursday morning 9.15 am - 9.30 am where we meet as a community for a bible reading, worship song, and silent prayer.  Refresh with us again at midday with a short bible reading and time for quiet prayer.

Prayer is also available as you need it. Many of our team are experienced in providing prayer, both with you or

if preferred without you. Please just ask.

our chaplaincy

Recognising that our volunteer and staff team deliver front line pastoral care to each other and our guests, we are blessed to have a part time employed Chaplain to nurture and support them. A Chaplain supports with life's ups and downs, someone to walk alongside and be present in everyday life. They provide a listening ear for any situation and can help explore and expand the journey of faith.

Our lay Chaplain supports on all our prayer and faith based activities ensuring they are inclusive and accessible, and on occasion can provide short term support to guests if a next step from general support or prayer is required.

Springs of life Church
at Hope House

Hope Nottingham are happy to offer a physical home to Springs of Life Church who meet for Bible study each Wednesday evening and for worship each Sunday.

A number of their members also volunteer within our foodbank and cafe and their Pastor provides
