one of the greatest gifts you can give is your time.

#volunteer

We simply couldn’t what we do without our amazing volunteers and the wonderful generosity, enthusiasm, experience and energy they bring to Hope Nottingham.  Currently our volunteer team stands at a total of approximately 368 volunteers working at our Beeston and Carlton hubs and our satellite foodbanks across the city.  There’s an incredible array of different opportunities to get involved with at Hope covering areas right across Nottingham.  Whether you want to commit a few days a week or a few hours a month, your support really matters to us. You can find out more about the benefits of volunteering and how we empower and enable volunteering here.

We have a  Safer Recruitment Policy meaning we do follow an application and reference process.

We also ensure that volunteers are properly inducted and supported in their volunteer roles.

For any volunteering enquiries, please contact us at volunteer@hopenottingham.org.uk

or by calling 0303 040 1110.

With regret, we do not currently have any available slots for Duke of Edinburgh placements.

We are looking for a volunteer who can commit at least weekly to help in researching local projects and services. This is to ensure that our multiple volunteer foodbank teams are fully advised on where to signpost our guests to, to assist them holistically with their different and often complex needs.   Volunteering can be a mix of from home or in our Beeston office.

job club volunteers

Our job clubs based at Hope House, Beeston Mon and Wed a.m, and Beeston and Stapleford libraries on Tues a.m are unintentionally supported by only male volunteers

(and what great guys they are!)

We would therefore really like to add some gender diversity to better reflect our local communities. The role involves good written, verbal and PC literacy and confidence writing cv's and helping our guests with job searches.
